Moriches Community Center Programs

Olympic Camp

Olympic Camp is open to youth in grades 2-7, and is a fun-filled week of games, socialization and light competitions where team work, physical fitness and diversity tolerance are promoted. Led by Coach Anthony and his "Kids in Control" Peer Leadership staff, campers enjoy a lineup of fun activities, games and challenges.

Two all day sessions are usually scheduled, one in July and one in August, and activities take place outside using athletic fields behind Clayton Huey Elementary School in Center Moriches. Campers are instructed to bring lunch, fruit, sunscreen and a hat, while water and snacks are provided by the camp staff. This program is funded by camper fees and general fundraising.

Registration for the 2010 3rd Annual Olympic Camp has begun!
